Power and ethernet together for intelligent networking
Intelligent networking links power and ethernet – with a built-in ethernet switch – to daisy-chain a mix of Thermal and HD cameras. This enables real-time visual monitoring and diagnostic data collection across the entire length of the Longwall.
Exceptional image quality and low latency
Robust Wi-Fi and low-latency streaming promotes seamless connectivity with exceptional signal strength and stable connections without freezes. Efficient data transmission, ONVIF compliant thermal video streaming at 4Mbps, and a fast frame rate of 25Hz support real-time visual monitoring.
Deepsight HD model features:
- Exceptional image quality with superior low-light video and image capture in real-time to support remote operations
- High resolution recording (1920x1080P)
Deepsight Thermal model features:
- High-resolution thermal images unaffected by darkness, dust, or water sprays
- Thermal Sensitivity which detects the smallest variations in temperatures as low as 40 mK for early recognition of equipment stress or fire risk
- AI-enhanced object detection which captures real-time visuals of workers, cables, machinery and other heat sources
Best of all, both HD and Thermal images can be streamed simultaneously.

The CUBEx Deepsight IS Camera goes beyond the optics. Its AI-enhanced real-time analytics and safety alerts provide a deeper view which can potentially decrease costly down time caused by equipment failures and safety issues.
An inbuilt crashcam captures up to four hours of data for investigation and proactive safety management while mechanical damage to the IS Camera itself does not classify as a High Potential Incident (HPI) ensuring safety compliance in hazardous zones.
The CUBEx Deepsight IS Cameras are part of the CUBEx range of IS power and lighting products with a strong track record in harsh underground mining environments. It can provide full insight of the entire Longwall via multiple daisy-chained cameras and can also be applied to Development and mobile machinery.
