Our biggest takeaway from the NSW Mining Collision Avoidance Forum this week was the necessity and value of information gathered from Personnel Detection Systems (PDS) to prevent dangerous interactions between underground vehicles with other vehicles and personnel.
As the provider of an interface between the PDS systems for LHDs and personnel transporters, this was a great opportunity for our team to participate in a discussion at a technical level and interact with other decision makers in the industry.
