Each year on March 8th, International Women’s Day reminds us to support and recognise women’s achievements. This year we are urged to “…challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women’s achievements”.
In early December, we celebrated the achievements of Nautitech® MD, Aga Blana, as she accepted the NSW Women in International Business Award presented by the Export Council. Aga’s win highlights her success and determination as a female business leader whose accomplishments can influence others across international borders.
At a local level, Aga actively supports women in the workforce by providing extra superannuation contributions for all female employees, a potentially significant long-term benefit.
This year’s IWD message is about “collective individualism” and at Nautitech® we support the view that our collective efforts, regardless of age, gender, culture, or geography can influence economies, governments, and communities around the world to flourish and be more harmonious.
