NAUTITECH® was thrilled to host the team from CSIRO and Generation STEM Links at our offices in NSW this week. Kate Cherry, Madeleine Thoms, and Milly Coman met with Executive Chairperson, Aga Blana, who is committed to offering mentorships to provide industry experience and is a champion of gender equality in the workplace.
Over the past year, we have welcomed 10 male and female interns (and even hired a few) to learn hands-on skills in engineering and manufacturing. They have brought energy and curiosity, which has given their mentors a fresh perspective on how they perform their own roles as they teach the next generation.
Thanks to the CSIRO and Generation STEM Links teams for making these opportunities possible and we look forward to our continuing collaboration.
