Originally developed to support visibility for drivers and operators, our latest ExTREMECAM compresses thermal image data from 60 Mbps to 5 Mbps. Combined with the Spitfire® BPLM, real-time thermal imaging from Longwall and Development equipment can now be made available to control rooms on the surface.
Applications include marker band and heat source identification, transfer point analysis and personnel detection.
With robust Ex d protection, the Nautitech® thermal camera is unaffected by environmental conditions underground and provides situational awareness for critical decision making.
