Our Broadband Power Line Modems (BPLM) include our Spitfire and Super Spitfire. Power line communications (PLC) technology uses the conductors of the electrical supply to carry EtherNet data. Whereas traditional installations were limited to point-to-point PLC links, advances in PLC allow complex topologies to be deployed as part of the site’s data network. This presentation will give an overview of the drivers, challenges and solutions for the recent installation of a complex PLC network in an underground coal mine tunnel development.

We would like to invite you to join us at one or both of these events, to hear Dr Carter’s presentation and to discuss how Nautitech can assist your organisation with our innovative products.
